cafesonique.com

CafeSonique.com is a Flash-based internetsolution that delivers voice, music, video, B2B chat, messaging, and 3D virtual room and building creation services”. While this still is pretty vague to me, the website is awesome.

It takes a while to load the animations, and the navigation through the buildings may feel a bit slowish, but check out the website. A grid with 3D buildings, animations and solid graphics make this website an award winner.

pirogov.ru

To be honest, I have no idea what pirogov.ru is about, since it is all in Russian. But the moment I saw the website, I knew I had to list it.

It shows you a relaxing view from the beach, waves rolling in and a gnetle breeze moving the palmtree in the picture. A great source for some relaxing and inspiration.

duirwaighcom

Duirwaigh.com is a pretty extreme website. It began as an online gallery website in 1999, and evolved to the best place nowadays to find ‘mythopoetic art’.

The design of the site is something you won’t find a lot online. It’s pretty bizarre and very creative. Things I can make clear from the header seem to be the tents of a circus, a classic sun, and a few birds flying around. Take a look for yourself, very impressive!

NewWorkCity.com.au is about Parramatta, the geographic, commercial and cultural capital of Western Sydney, Australia. The page is used to promote the employment opportunities over there, and let the people know more in general about Parramatta.

A sky-blue background, with several elements of our earthy planet create a vibrant picture. This image is the base of the entire website, and Flash takes care of the rest; animations between pages and content. The entire website is created in Flash, and creates a pretty solid multimedia experience.

osvaldasinfo

Osvaldas Valutis is a 20-year old front-end web designer, and created his site with dark colors in mind. Highlights of green are placed on a black background, combined with shades of grey to form the text.

But what is so special about this site, is not his choice of colors. If you browse the website, it almost seems as if it is made in Flash. The pages switch with a combination of smooth fades and transitions; a well use of jQuery and its tools.
